About Christopher Ford, Esq. President, Macon County Bar Association | Founder, Law Office of Christopher Ford Born at John A. Andrew Hospital in Tuskegee, Alabama, on August 30, 1976, Christopher Ford is a dedicated trial attorney and community advocate with deep local roots and a clear mission: to get people what they deserve. He is the founder of the Law Office of Christopher Ford in Tuskegee, where for over 16 years he has focused on civil litigation, personal injury, probate, estate administration, and real property matters.

Christopher was raised in a political family - his father, Johnny Ford, made history as the first Black Mayor of Tuskegee, Alabama, elected in 1972, and has served the people of Alabama ever since as Mayor, State Senator, State Representative, and the first Black Republican member of the Alabama Legislature since Reconstruction. His mother, Frances Ford, is from Union Springs, Alabama. Growing up in this environment, Christopher was practically born campaigning and learned early on the value of service and community engagement.

He is a proud product of Tuskegee’s schools - St. Joseph Catholic Elementary School and Booker T. Washington High School - and a lifelong member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. A former member of Jack and Jill of America, Christopher went on to earn his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with a minor in Legal Studies from Morehouse College, and his Juris Doctorate from the Thomas Goode Jones School of Law in Montgomery, Alabama, where he served as President of the Black Law Student Association.

The day after passing the bar, Christopher handled his first felony case and quickly built a thriving practice, focusing primarily on criminal defense for the first nine to ten years before expanding into civil litigation. Over the years, his firm has grown to handle a wide range of legal matters, all with one goal: getting clients the fair outcomes they deserve.

Christopher has extensive jury trial experience and has recovered millions of dollars for his clients in civil litigation. He does not care about billboards or personal recognition; his priority is making sure the people of Tuskegee and surrounding communities receive strong, honest legal representation and the fair settlements they are entitled to. To him, justice is not about fame - it’s about results.

For over 11 years, Christopher was fortunate to share office space and mentorship with the Honorable Albert Bulls Sr. and the Honorable George Bulls III - an experience that reinforced his commitment to collaboration, professional excellence, and service to his hometown. Christopher values working alongside other attorneys and serving the people of Tuskegee, a community that shaped him and remains at the heart of his practice. Although a proud Morehouse graduate, he never forgets that Tuskegee is home.

Outside the courtroom, Christopher is most proud of raising his daughter, Lauryn Ashley Ford, as a single father. Lauryn is currently earning her Bachelor of Arts at St. John’s University in New York City with a minor in Social Justice and Legal Studies, and she plans to attend law school. Christopher is the middle child of three, with an older brother, Johnny Ford Jr., and a younger sister, Tiffany Ford.

As President of the Macon County Bar Association, Christopher continues to advocate for the legal profession, mentor young lawyers, and protect the rights and interests of his community. At the end of the day, he isn’t trying to make people famous or put their faces on billboards - he’s here to get them what they deserve. Whether it’s a fair settlement, a declaratory judgment, or a not guilty verdict, Christopher fights for real results that bring real justice. Serving his community through the law is more than a profession for him - it’s his purpose, and it’s what gives life meaning and substance.
